Get to Know Me

Due to growing up in challenging situations and overcoming many of my traumas, I knew I wanted to assist others who struggled as I did. During my junior year in high school, I recall knowing that I wanted to help teens and their parents better understand one another. I have worked in the field of social work for more than 17 years. My experience includes: working as a direct care service provider, with runaway and homeless youth, at the Wichita Children's Home/Bridges/Street Outreach Program, as a school social worker with USD 259, and working as a therapist for youth in foster care and those transitioning out of human trafficking. My goal as a therapist is to get to know you, assist you where you are now, and walk with you to your desired goals. I have learned, in my work and my personal life, "old ways won't open new doors". It has been a long and challenging road to unlearn past patterns, leading me to places I, ultimately, did not want to be. Please allow me to assist you in learning new patterns, while unlearning old ones, so you may Open Doors to healing.
